Important Notice About Your Library Account Lists

You may have heard the news. The new myLibrary Catalog is coming soon. With it comes exciting improvements to your online Library experience.

News About Your Lists

We know that you have created reading lists in your current library account. Your current lists will NOT transfer to the new myLibrary Catalog. If you want to save these lists, please access your existing account and print them before January 20, 2019.  (Please note, your hold items and Reader History will transfer automatically and remain in your new account.)

To print, log into your account and click the YOUR LISTS tab. Select the list you want to print and click the “printer-friendly version” selection at the top of the page. If you have questions or need assistance, please contact any branch. Our staff is happy to help.

Thank you for your patience and flexibility during this transition. We are confident that when you access the new myLibrary Catalog in late January, you will appreciate the results.

Library services will be limited in January as we implement the changes that will improve your online library experience. Here is what you can expect during this transition period:
How will I...
Return my library materials?
If you check out library materials after January 10, we ask that you keep those items until February.
This includes Most Wanted, bestsellers, and items on reserve. Nothing will be considered late until after February 15.

Place a hold?
After January 20 at 5:00 pm, you will no longer be able to place holds until our new system is online. Be sure to print any Lists you’ve created in your old account. They will not transfer automatically.
Search for items in the catalog?
From January 25-29, the library catalog is not being updated. If you need to verify the availability of specific titles during this time, please call or visit your nearest branch for assistance, or use “Ask Us” on the library website. Our staff is committed to helping you find what you need.

Access ebooks and other resources?
Ebooks, streaming music and movies, and all of our online resources will continue to be available without interruption.
We appreciate your patience and flexibility during this transition. If you have questions or need assistance, please contact us. The library staff is happy to help.
