Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the library. We are committed in finding meaningful ways for the community to serve with us and we look forward to finding a great way for you to volunteer with the library. There currently are three ways for you to volunteer; 1) serve in your local branch, 2) serve with the Library Foundation, and 3) serve with the Friends of the Library.
How to apply:
Volunteer applications may be picked up at any St. Charles City-County Library Branch or printed directly from our website. Please return your completed application to any branch location, send as an email attachment to volunteer@stchlibrary.org, or mail to 77 Boone Hills Dr. St. Peters, MO 66376, Attention: Volunteer and Training Specialist. Available opportunities will be posted at the branch and our website.
After you apply:
Once applications are received the library will review and select those whose interests and availability meet our current needs. Upon acceptance, all volunteers will be required to submit a background check (at volunteer’s expense) through Missouri’s Health and Senior Services office. Every new volunteer is required to attend a Volunteer Orientation prior to first day of service.
