Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the library. We are committed in finding meaningful ways for the community to serve with us and we look forward to finding a great way for you to volunteer with the library. There currently are three ways for you to volunteer; 1) serve in your local branch, 2) serve with the Library Foundation, and 3) serve with the Friends of the Library.
How to apply:
Volunteer applications may be picked up at any St. Charles City-County Library Branch or printed directly from our website. Please return your completed application to any branch location, send as an email attachment to email@example.com, or mail to 77 Boone Hills Dr. St. Peters, MO 66376, Attention: Volunteer and Training Specialist. Available opportunities will be posted at the branch and our website. You must be at least 12 years old to volunteer with the library district.
After you apply:
Once applications are received the library will review and select those whose interests and availability meet our current needs. Upon acceptance, all volunteers 16 years and older, will be required to submit a background check (at volunteer’s expense) through Missouri’s Health and Senior Services office. Every new volunteer is required to attend a Volunteer Orientation prior to first day of service.
