Carrie Pilby (by Caren Lissner)

Carrie Pilby is a 19 year old prodigy that has just graduated from Harvard University. However, Carrie’s intelligence does not reflect her social skills at all. Carrie has never fit in with other kids and now she is a stuck up thoughtful girl that questions everything; she is not outgoing and thinks that the best world is the one that let’s her be in bed (her dad pays for her apartment). That is, until she opens up to her therapist (whom she doesn’t really like at first but her dad is paying so, why not go and see him?).

I So Don't Do Famous is a book I definitely enjoyed reading. It is a mix of an everyday teenager's life, but with a mystery. Sherry wins a contest, and the prize is a trip to Hollywood. Not everything goes according to plan, though, like when Sherry finds herself solving the mystery of the Beverly Hills Bandits. This book was so well written, I felt like I was part of the mystery! This is an amazing book, and I would suggest it to everyone!

Dr. Scarpetta is involved in a murder of her friend Ted Eddings. She believes he didn't just drown, which is what most people thought. She thinks he was murdered and poisned. I like that the book was a good page-turner, but I did not like how it ended so short. It seemed as if it wasn't finished.

This is a really well-written book. You've probably ready 2 billion reviews about it, not to mention having read it yourself, but I read it for the first time. Bear with me.

First, only remember Gandalf and Bilbo Baggins. The dwarves are mysteriosly numerous - there's like, 14, no lie. Also, it takes a LOT of determination to finish. But, it's still a good book, and you're glad you read it. Then you learn there's another 3.

Souldbound by Heather Brewer is exhilerating and amazing. Kaya show's true bravery while still making time to fall in love. It kept me enthraled to the very last page. The entire book kept me guessing on what actually was going on. I loved the intensity and how even when Kaya is a girl she never wanted to give up and she didn't let anyone get into her way. I can't wait to read the next book "Soulbroken" to find out what will happen to Kaya and all of the other characters of the terrificly written Soulbound.
