Daniel Tammet's autobiography Born on a Blue Day allows the reader to delve into the complex mind of an autistic savant. In his book, Daniel shows his growth from childhood to adult life and how he has successfully been able to live independantly. He tells of his accomplishments, such as being filmed for a documentary and being the world record holder for most pi-digits memorized in Europe (22,514). He also describes his simple day-to-day life. I highly enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in psychology or knows someone with autism.
