Wild Thing
by Dandi Daley Mackall
|
I enjoyed this book a lot. The author has a way to keep you
turning pages. I can't understand why. It's no chiffhanger.
With her clear, descriptive writing Dandi etwines your mind
and heart with Winnei's life. Everyone should read it. Even
though it is meant for children, teens may enjoy it - I know
some grown-ups who do. Winnie knows her dream horse just needs
love but how can she resque it from it's owners? Plus Winnie
must convince her dad not to uproot their family and move -
agen. WInnei doesn't think she deservese a normal life - or
God's love. The rest of the series is about her horse gentling
business and not fitting in. The school's popular girl hates
her! Winnie's family tries to reunite and Winnie learns more
about God. O, she must save horses to.
