Way Down Deep
by Ruth White

Way Down Deep is a good book because the setting is very clear so you can comprehend everything well. Way Down Deep is about a girl who is found and taken by the owner of the Roost. Robber Bob and his family have interesting facts about Ruby's (main character) parents. Ruby finds out her parents are dead. So Ruby moves in with her unhappy Grandma. Eventually Ruby and Grandma move to the Roost.
