Truancy
by Isamu Fukui

I really enjoyed reading this book. I couldn't put it down. In the book there was a lot of action in it. Also there was some twists and turns in it where you would least expect it. The book is about Tack, a 15 year old teenager, who lives in a city that is ruled by the Mayor, who rules with an iron fist. Tack's days are filled with mindless homework and getting yelled at by crazy teachers. His life changes when someone he loves dearly is killed and he swears to avenge them. To avenge the one he loves he leaves his school life and joins the truancy. When he joins the truancy he meets Zyid the truant leader. As Tack fights along side the truancy then he is split between vengeance and his growing sympathy for the truancy. I would recommend this book to anyone who lies action and twisted plots
