To Kill a Mockingbird
by Harper Lee

To Kill a Mockingbird is a story about two kids who's father is a lawyer. The story is set back in the 1800's when racism was still common. It's very unique for it's style of writing since its set back in the 1800's. Scout and Jem Finch are two children who have to deal with relatives and town members who are mad at their family for not being completely proper and because their father is defending an African American who was accused of raping a white mans daughter. This book is full of comedy, action, and plenty of adventure and is a great read for anyone. I enjoyed reading it because I thought the characters were a little sneaky and nosy like me. This book is a good classic for any teen or high school student to read.
