Takeoffs and Landings
by Margaret Peterson Haddix

"Takeoffs and Landings" is a story about a family, whose mom travels half the time. But this time, she is taking two of her five children-the oldest ones-Chuck and Lori. When they takeoff, they don't really even know each other. When they land for the last time, they are different people. They are really family.

I would recommend this title to my friends. I really enjoyed reading this book and I know they will, too. The book had a good moral, and it teaches you to be more patient with your family. I related to Lori-she has my sassy mouth; she talks without thinking. Oops! To find out all the story of Lori, Chuck, and Mom, go to your library and check out "Takeoffs and Landings".
