The Sign of the Beaver is about a boy that moved to Maine with his father and the father had to go back to New York and get the rest of the family. It took over 2 months, and the dad told the son he would be back. So the boy struggled to live. He was attacked by a next of wasps and an Indian boy named Atteam saved his life and helped him until his dad got back. I liked the book because it's about history and how easily the boy could have died.
