Review

I loved this book because it's a good classic mystery, that's hard to know what happens next, and it entertained me. In the story (which takes place in 1854) their neighbor, Erik promises Kirsten's Uncle money. Then, Erik disappears. Everyone thinks he's run away except for Kirsten. She investigates and finds different clues and in the end, Erik was just visiting his sister, who was sick.
