On Fire
by Walter Sorrells

This book is the sixth in its adventure series based on the hit television series. It follows the lives of seven kids stranded on a tropical island who must learn to put aside their differences to survive. In this story, one of the teens fall terribly ill and has a small chance of making it through. Everyone goes through the trouble of trying to cure Jackson, make fire, and find Daley's ten-year old brother that gets lost in the forests. At the same time, they all find out more about each other and learn valuable lessons along the way. This book was unique because although there are many stories about stranded people, they usually don't involve young kids. I did enjoy reading this book because I like how it is intriguing and sometimes make me worry because of an intense situation. I can relate to Daley because I understand how responsible and protective she would be when dealing with and taking care of a younger brother in the situation they are in.
