Mountain Solo
by Jeanette Ingold

I really enjoyed this book, and I related a lot to Tess. When she blew her big chance, she didn't know what to do because her mother and teachers had always made decisions for her. She feels like she has failed everyone around her, and she goes to her father's house in Montana only to discover that she wasn't the only one in her family to play the violin so well. I have recommended this book to all of my friends and almost all of them loved it.
