Little House on the Prairie is about the real life of Laura Ingalls Wilder. It takes place when Laura is still a young girl. Her family decides to move from the big woods in Wisconsin, to Indian country in Oklahoma. They worked hard on their new land to make a safe and comfortable home. Laura has many adventures with Mr. Edwards and the Indians. This book, though ready by younger girls, is great for all ages. You can learn more about Laura and her family by reading all of the "Little House" books.
