The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
by Conor Kostick

In this book, four kids from England step into a wardrobe and find themselves in a different world called Narnia. It is always winter there though because the evil white witch put a curse on Narnia for it to always be winter and never Christmas. The four children meet Mr. Tumnus the faun, Mr. and Mrs. Beaver, and even Father Christmas. In their time there, they meet Aslan, the courageous lion, also the king, and defeat the white witch to bring Narnia back to life. Peter, Edmund, Susan, and Lucy then reign as kings and queens in Narnia at Cair Paravel for many years and later return to England to find that no time has passed for them.

I would recommend this title to my friends because it is fun, adventurous, and it allows you to use your imagination.
