Jurassic Park
by Michael Crichton

What would a rich ad man want with a paleontologist, a mathematician, and a computer geek? This is what one government agent wonders as Alan Grant, Ian Malcomn, and Dennis Nedry are flown along with Grant's assistant to a mysterious Costa Rican island. John Hammond was the owner of both the plane and the island. And what he needed from the group was insight about whether or not his island amusement park would be able to open the following year. The mist clears. They land and step out into a prehistoric world. Dinosaurs. Real dinosaurs made in flesh. They were created by a combination of Hammonds scientist, Dr. Wise's knowledge and Hammonds' money. But all of them soon discover that you can't lock nature up in a cage. Unfortunately, all of them will soon see and feel the consequences of trying to bring back creature whom nature destroyed-more than 2 million years ago. Filled with nail biting thrills, Jurassic Park, is definitely a book to pick up. I highly recommend it to any teen or adult looking for a good suspense. It will keep you turning the pages up until the final roar.
