Joelle's Secret is about a girl named Joelle and when her mother died her step-father said he was going to marry her so she ran away. Then her stepfather started to put up wanted posters. So she dressed up like a man and was named Jue Jones. Soon she started working on a farm and meet a man named Major Owens and asked Joe to go on the Oregon Trail. One day along the trail she got shot and everyone found out she was a girl. Owen saw how pretty she was and fell in love with her.
