Zoey Redbird isn't your average teenager. She isn't even your
average fledgling ( a student becoming a vampire). Zoey has
an affinity for all the elements, air, fire, water, earth, and
spirit. With her friends she must defeat Kalona, a fallen angel
that tries to make all the fledglings turn from Nyx. Nyx is
the goddess of Night who blessed Zoey and guides her to save
the world from evil. Zoey doesn't just have problems with Kalona
who thinks she is Aya, his love from one thousand years ago
and Neferet, the fallen High Priestess. She also has boy trouble
with Heath, her human boyfriend before she changed, Staru, a
boy who died and came back to life, and Erik, a full grown vampire.
