Vicenza is hating America. She has no friends, no boyfriend,
and goes to the movies with her family on Friday nights. She
lies to her Filipino friend about her American experience too.
In the end she finds a friend, a boyfriend, and happiness. This
book is unique because the author has a way of putting you in
the story. I would recommend this book to friends. I enjoyed
learning about America through Vicenza's eyes.
