Dust
by Arthur Slade

Dust is about a boy named Robert whose 7-year-old brother, Mathew, has mysteriously disappeared. A few weeks after Mathew had disappeared, an odd looking man named Abram Harsich arrives in Robert's town, Horshoe. After Abram arrives, all the adults seem to forget about Mathew, and turn their thoughts to magic mirrors and rain in this drought-gripped town. But Robert is determined to find Mathew, even if he dies, which just might happen… but you'll have to read the book to find out. This is very unique because the ideas and the plot are very creative. I would recommend it to western and mystery lovers. I enjoyed reading this book because I am much like Robert who perseveres and loves to read, and stands up to what he believes in.
