Chains is about a slave girl during the Revolutionary War trying
to take care of her younger sister. She is caught between he
two sides of the war. She can't decide if the rebels find their
freedom, if they will share it with her. This book made me cry.
The trouble that this girl faces is amazing and inspiring. I
would recommend this book to anyone I meet.
