Savvy Christopher is no ordinary teen. At 6 foot 2 inches she is the star of a select basketball team in New Mexico. Her dad is or was a golf star but he fell off of their roof and hurt his back. That ended his golf career. With their dad out of work, they were losing money fast. Soon they go bankrupt and have to move in with their Aunt Betty in Rhode Island. Savvy tries out for the 18 and below team but she is doubted and people think she should try for the 16 and under team. At 6 foot 2 inches and age 14, Savvy makes it but the coach says she must boost her game. After a game she gets framed for steroids in her bag, but they weren't hers.
