In The Book of Three, a boy named Taran learns to be a hero
while helping defeat the evil Horned King and finding friends
in the most unlikely of places. It was written by Lloyd Alexander
and is part of the Chronicles of Prydain series. I would recommend
reading this book, if you don't mind some suspense and a battle
or two.
