In the second book of the Shadow Children series, illegal third child Luke Garner takes a tough challenge. His is sent to Hendricks School for boys under the name Lee Grant. Soon he joins a group of many third children. He is eventually betrayed by one of the group members, Jason. He acts quick and calls Mr. Talbot. Mr. Talbot is a betrayer of the population police. He changes all the kids files. Luke now has to be very careful.

I enjoyed reading this book because I can relate to Luke. His older brothers always pick on him and he is very cautious.
