The Outsiders
by S.E. Hinton

In the Outsiders there are greesers and soces. Greesers are below middle class and live a hard life. Soces are rich and don't need to work. Neither of them can settle their differences.

The book Outsiders is unique because authors don't normally write books on gangs. I would recommend this title to my friends because this is about real life and this is what's happening today. I enjoyed reading this book because I relate to the characters like this one, Ponyboy, he's different than all of his friends and a friend Johnny which is different but the same in some ways too. This is a very good book.

The book "The Outsiders" was very interesting to read. This book was unique because it showed a different lifestyle than the kind we have today. I would recommend this book to my friends because it was enjoyable to read, cover to cover. I could relate to the characters because the lived in a huge bullying society, which still very much exists today.

Summary of this story:
Ponyboy Curtis is a greaser living with his older brothers (2). The Socs (Socials) are upper class people who like to pick on the greasers (low-class people). This book follows adventures and battles the Socs have with the gang of greasers.
