Miracle in the Andes is by far the best book I've ever read. I followed Nanda as his plane crashed in the Andes and he lost his mother, his sister, and many of all his friends. With him, I learned his limits and his drives. I also learned about my own beliefs in God's love and hope. This is a true story and Nando Parrado's selfless struggle for survival and his journey back home from the Andes Mountains. It is full of tears and laughs throughout hardships and horrors I will never forget. RR 06/17/08
