by Susan Beth Pfeffer

Award-winning "Life As We Knew It" is a book you don't want to miss! Miranda, a sixteen year old girl, wrote in her diary about daily happenings. Then scientists predicted that an asteroid was going to hit the moon. Everyone was excited, but Miranda believe it was just another reason for more homework. When the asteroid hit the moon, the moon when off orbit and things start getting out of hand. Life will never be the same! This book taught me to appreciate every moment of life! In this book, a horrible tradegy occurs. When an asteroid crashes into the moon & changes the Earth's environment, tides, and natural disasters. Miranda & her family have to fight to stay alive. Volcanoes erupt, earthquakes shake the earth, & the flu hits. May people die, but Miranda & her family encourage each other & win the fight to survive. I loved this book & would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a suspenseful read.
