Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe
by Fannie Flagg

This book is about life and how people help each other with every day issues. Its based in the Southern states during the raciest times when the KKK was around. It was easy to connect to the characters because they had to deal with the same problems that we face today. The most prominate relationships that are show are the main characters of Evelyn and Mrs. Threadgoode, Idgie and Ruth, and Stump and Peggy. If you want a refreshing book and a different perspective on life, then this is the book for you.
