by Alice Hoffman
|
Aquamarine is a book about two girls who find a mermaid in a
pool. One of the girls are moving. The mermaid likes someone
and the girls help her go on a date. The mermaid likes the guy
so much she almost dies. At the end, the beach is closing and
the girls go to the beach. When they get there some people are
having a really big party. During the party the girls find the
mermaid and take her to the ocean's water and let her go.

This book was amazing and heart-pounding! I would definitely
recommend this to my friends any day of the week. This book
was so thrilling that I could not put it down and read it in
an hour. The book first starts off talking right away about
two girls around the age of twelve at the Capri Beach Club.
They say it's the hottest and most exhausting August they've
seen yet, and so many people have decided to release their memberships
from the club. One night, there is a terrible storm that leads
a young and snooty mermaid to shore to find true love. Her name
is Aquamarine, and she is so curious that she ventures into
unknown territory that could changer her life forever. This
book points out what true friendship is like and what happens
when you stick together and fight for what is right! So go to
the library near you and check this book out. I promise that
you will be pleased!
