In this story, Remembrance Nye has to be the mother and father of her younger brother and sister. Her mother died last summer, and her father leaves to work on the canal. But in the end, she ends up with what she likes as a family. I really like this book because it's the sequel to two other books. I would recommend this book to friends. Also, I enjoyed it because it is exciting. I related because the girl is 13 and so am I. LP 6/25/07
