The Perfect Shot
by Elaine Marie Alphin

Brian is a high school student struggling over the death of his lifelong friend, Amanda, who was viciously murdered. Her father is on trial for her death and the death of her brother and mother. Brian is convinced that he knows something very important, that could prove Amanda's father's innocence. Before being assigned a very difficult assignment in history, he is convinced the only thing left for him is basketball. But that's all about to change. I loved this book because it was very suspenseful and was very hard to predict. It was a great book that I would easily recommend to my friends.
