On Etruscan Time
by Tracy Barrett

Hector's mother drags him to Italy for an archeology dig for a "summer vacation." Hector's vacation turns out to be a wild adventure. Hector finds a stone with an eye on it. Then he has dreams about an Etruscan boy, Arath, being tortured. After a few more dreams, Hector is taken back in time. It turns out Arath is the son of an Etruscan priest. His cousin, Cai, wants to kill Arath to become priest. Somehow Hector has to save Arath considering the fact that he can't pick anything up and can walk through stuff! Will Hector be able to save Arath? Read and find out something even more surprising.

The story On Etruscan Time is a book about a boy (Hector) going on an Archaeological trip to Italy. In Italy a person from an ancient Etruscan village comes. Hector travels back in time to the village. The boy father is a priest and wants hector to save him from his evil relative Cai. I recommend this title to people who like action/adventure books. I enjoyed reading this book because it is exciting and I think it deserves the Mark Twain Award.

This story is about a boy named Hector who is forced to go to Italy with his mom to help her friends in an archeological dig. At he the dig Hector found a stone eye that took him back to Etruscan time. There he helped rescue a boy named Arath from being framed for a crime he didn't commit. I would suggest reading this book; it is interesting but suspenseful at the same time.
