After her mother's death, Gemma Doyle is sent to an all-girls finishing school. She soon befriends three girls named Ann, Felicity, and Pippa. These three girls form a special bond called the Order after their art teacher, Miss Moore, tells them legends of a group of powerful women called the Order. Soon Gemma starts having visions, and she learns that the Order is not make-believe but was once a group of very powerful women. Gemma and her friends also discover a magical place call the Realms where everything is possible. But as they continue to learn of the Order, they also learn of Circe, an enemy of the Order that will stop at nothing to harm them and control the Realms herself. CG 7/7/07
