This was on of my favorite of the series. The four girls, Tibby,
Carmen, Lena and Bridget are all going to collage next year
and none of them are going to the same collage. Tibby, Carmon,
and Lena are all staying at home. But, Bridget is going to a
soccer camp in Pennsylvania, where she ends up seeing Eric,
who was a coach at another soccer camp. She doesn't know what
to do about her feelings for him. Tibby thought she was going
to have a normal summer, but her close friend, Bryan, wants
to be more. Carmen also thought her summer was going to be normal
but now she found out her mother is pregnant and Carmen is still
getting use to her new step-father. Lena was having a great
summer taking art classes, and then her father came to a class
and is now forbidding her to go to a collage specifically for
art. Lena is trying to make a portfolio for a scholarship before
it's too late.
I enjoyed this book because there were many parts that were
filled with suspense. I also enjoyed how each girl was experiencing
different things but are still connected through the pants.
In a way, I am kind of like the four main characters, because
I have two really close friends that live in up-state New York
and we visit each other in July. We stay in touch by writing
or emailing each other.
