Teen
Idol is an excellent, inspiring, and enjoyable book. Teen
Idol is about a shy, well-liked girl (Jenny) who finally takes
a stand at her high school. Jenny is always putting others
before herself. After meeting a celebrity who gives her advice
Jenny transforms her high school for the better. Jenny completely
ceased all the cruelness happening at her school. I really
enjoyed this book because it had a real lesson to it. Everyone
sees people being picked on, and everyone has experienced
being picked on and they know how awful it feels. Most of
the time people just watch and let the bully continue to pick
on their victim. This story sends a message that we all have
the power to stop a bully.
Just because someone looks different or acts different doesn't
mean you can taunt and judge them. Everyone has something
unique about themselves, and we should all respect that. Everyone's
beautiful in their own way. In "Teen Idol", Jenny
stops many cases of bullying and helps solve people's issues.
If everyone cared about people like Jenny and had the courage
to stand up to people as Jenny did, our school could be a
better place. I think everyone should read this book and let
this book influence them as positively as it did me.
