All Postcards were cleaned-up utilizing Photoshop 7.0. Originals were scanned at 300 DPI on a HP Scanjet 4070 Photosmart Scanner, then kept as TIF files. The resultant copies from the TIF files were then altered in order to be presented in a more appealing fashion for the viewers.
Every attempt was made to retain the integrity of these images; the objective being to remove scratches, discolouration, tears, and to "restore" the postcards so that they appear to be of better condition than their actuality.
