The standard source for mutual fund ratings. The entry for each mutual
fund provides the fund's objective, the fund manager's credentials, past
performance figures, comparisons to the performance of various indexes,
a tax analysis, a risk analysis, an analysis of the fund's portfolio,
an overall fund analysis, and Morningstar's exclusive numerical fund rating.

Weiss Ratings' Guide to
Common Stocks

Offered as an alternative to ValueLine and Standard & Poor's, Street.com
tends to be tougher on stocks than either of them (and also completely
free of conflict of interest). The guide contains numerous sections -
general listing providing basic statistics and ratings; a list of the
top 200 common stocks; a list of the bottom 200 common stocks; the 100
best and worst common stocks rated by performance; the 100 best and worst
common stocks rated by risk; the top-rated common stocks by risk category;
the top-rated common stocks by industry; and an appendix that includes
information useful in understanding how investment works.
Value Line Investment Survey

A source that provides information about various stocks. Included in the
entry for each stock is a brief commentary, past performance, financial
information about the company, current information about the stock's price,
price-earnings ratio, and dividend yield. Also included are Value Line's
Timeliness, Safety, and Technical Ratings. The Expanded edition of the
Value Line Investment Survey covers small- and mid-cap stocks that are
not included in the regular edition.

Guided Tour of Stock Investing

This book provides information on investing to the novice investor. Ratings
on stocks, an investment glossary, and strategies on investing are given
in this book.
