Tours

The St. Charles City-County Library District offers customized tours to groups such as daycares, scout troops, clubs, classes, homeschoolers, etc. To schedule a tour, call the branch of your choice and ask for the Branch Manager or the Children's department if you are bringing a group of children. Tours may include how to use the online catalog, where types of materials are located, how to find information, how to use electronic resources, types of services offered by the library district, a story or film, how to get a library card, etc.

Speakers

Library staff are available to speak to local organizations such as Optimists, PTOs, Scout Troops, church groups, homeschoolers, etc. on the Library District in general or on specific topics such as: Business, Nonprofit Services, Genealogy, Local History, Storytelling, Booktalks, Using the Internet, Government Documents, Consumer Health, Children's Literature, or other topics as arranged.
