The South County branch is a cozy community branch with just enough of everything and quick access to the larger District collection. The current location opened in 2010. Thanks to the Town of Augusta, we have a beautiful new building of about 2800 sq ft. Our library features a collection of about 11,000 items, public access computers, comfortable seating, a small meeting area, and book-store style face out displays. We offer the newest, hottest titles in the Most Wanted Collection. Our collection includes books, movies, music and a small reference collection. Stop in and get to know us! The South County Branch staff loves to meet new people and enjoys seeing regular friends who come to use the library. We guarantee you will be greeted with a smile and you will want to return as often as possible.
