Smoke Free Workplace
Medical evidence clearly shows that smoking is harmful to the health of smokers. Smoke from cigarettes, pipes and cigars is also an irritant to non-smokers and can worsen allergic conditions. Furthermore, recent medical studies indicate that long-term exposure to second-hand smoke may increase non-smokers’ risks of developing lung disease.
The St. Charles City-County Library District is dedicated to providing a healthy, comfortable and productive work environment for its employees.
