Volunteers

Volunteers perform a variety of functions for the Library District. Assignments are balanced to accommodate the skills and interests of the volunteers with the needs of the District. Some of the functions performed by volunteers may include: landscaping, working in the Gift Shop, data entry, telephone calling, preparation for children's programs, reading to young children, artwork, working with customers using Internet resources, etc.

Those interested in volunteering should complete a volunteer application available at the Circulation Desk at each branch. Branch Managers supervise the volunteer activities at each branch and may use volunteers on a regular basis or for special projects.
