Retirement Plan

Full time library employees participate in the Missouri Local Government Retirement System (LAGERS). It is mandatory that all employees participate who meet the minimum hourly requirements of 1,500 hours per year as specified by the plan.

As of July 1, 1996, the Library District will pay 100% of the contributions for the LAGERS plan. Employees are fully vested in the program after five years of service.
