INFORMATION is our business. Value-added online electronic resources and the Internet available from public access computers are used to provide the most timely information. Telephone or e-mail questions are welcome.

USE THE LIBRARY ONLINE CATALOG from home or in the library to renew your materials, reserve materials, see what you have checked out or if you owe any fines, check or cancel reserves & search by title, subject or author.

LIBRARY HOME PAGE is where information about the Library and information from the Internet is organized for customers. Special pages of Internet reference resources, local history & genealogy information, business information, government information, GIS information, children’s and young adult sites are provided. www.youranswerplace.org/

LIBRARY PROGRAMS for all ages include Internet training classes, book discussion groups, & many other exciting & informative programs.

CHILDREN’S SERVICES provides materials, reader’s advisory, special programs and a dynamic summer reading program.

YOUNG ADULT SERVICES includes programs, materials and a special summer reading program for library customers age 12 to 18.

BUSINESS/NON-PROFIT/PUBLIC MANAGEMENT SERVICES (Spencer Road Branch) – Special materials and services to assist small business, non-profit and local government. Workshops available.

BIZELLI-FLEMING LOCAL HISTORY COLLECTION (Kathryn Linnemann Branch) Genealogical research, local events, people, and local history materials.

GOVERNMENT DOCUMENTS on a multitude of topics are located at the Middendorf-Kredell Library, a Federal Documents Depository Library for the 2nd Congressional District. The majority of the resources are available through the Government Documents website.

GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS (GIS) at the Middendorf-Kredell Branch provide demographic & economic information through the use of electronic mapping.

SPECIAL SERVICES FOR SENIOR CITIZENS, DISABLED AND HOMEBOUND include Arkenstone Reading Machines, Books to You delivery to the homebound, Closed Circuit Video Machines, Large Print Books, Telecommunications Devices for the Deaf, Wolfner Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped and deposit collections in nursing homes, retirement centers and the jail.
