Grievance Procedure

A grievance procedure has been established to handle serious questions about performance, procedure, or personnel, which directly affect an employee and his/her job.

An employee is encouraged to first speak to his supervisor or branch/department manager concerning a problem and to try to resolve the problem within the branch/department. The Human Resources Coordinator is also available to help guide or counsel an employee with employment concerns.

However, if an employee believes that a grievance is the appropriate method of resolution, then a written grievance must be submitted to the immediate supervisor within one week of the events.

More details can be found in the Policy Manual.
