Whereas
Rose Mack served the St. Charles City-County Library District for
four years as Trustee; Whereas Rose Mack served the Trustees as Treasurer of the Board; And Whereas Rose Mack, because of her knowledge of and connections to the O’Fallon community was instrumental in bringing quality library service to the central part of the County; And Whereas Rose Mack was an important link between the Library District and the County’s Chambers of Commerce; And Whereas Rose Mack was instrumental in promoting the Library District’s Business and Governmental Services; And Whereas Rose make played a major role in assuring that the District forged important linkages with Vision St. Charles County Leadership . |
| Therefore
be it resolved: That the Board of Trustees of the St. Charles City-County Library District do recognize Rose Mack for her excellence in service to the District and the community and wish her the best in future endeavors. |

Whereas
Ralph Conner was a leader in St. Peters during its formative growth
period in the 1970’s. And Whereas Ralph Conner was visionary in seeing potential growth for the area. And Whereas Ralph Conner owned land in the heart of St. Peters. And Whereas Ralph Conner had the good fortune to marry Carol Conner who shared his commitment to public service and community giving. And Whereas Ralph Conner alone had faith in the St. Charles City-County Library District in a time when its reputation was damaged, and two separate elections for traditional approaches to library construction failed at the polls. And Whereas Ralph Conner committed his money and reputation in assuring the St. Charles City-County Library District that it had an excellent location for a major facility in St. Peters. And Whereas Ralph and Carol Conner donated more than $300,000 in property to the St. Charles City-County Library District. |

be it resolved, That the Board of Trustees of the St. Charles City-County Library District do recognize the contributions of Ralph Conner’s life and its value to the District. |
