The St. Charles City-County Library District’s eMedia collection is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A valid St. Charles City-County Library District card is required to check out items. eMedia collections can be accessed by using the links below and through author, title, subject, or material browsing searches in the Library Catalog. |

| Popular, classic, fiction & nonfiction books that adults, teens & kids want to listen to on their portable players, car radio, or home computer are available free from OverDrive. These audio books can be downloaded to your PC, burned to a CD (if permitted), or transferred to a supported portable device such as a MP3 player. Downloadable audio books may be downloaded to your computer at home or to your laptop using the Wi-Fi service offered at selected library branches. Windows Media Player and OverDrive Media Console are needed to download audio books. This software is available to download for free when you check out your first book. |

The NetLibrary collection includes research & reference tools, some classics and Cliff Notes. Titles will be checked out to one customer at a time for four hours.
