SUMMARY:
Responsible for communicating Library District information through visual means and participating in development of District publications and graphics. Assists with layout and design of brochures, schedules, fliers, posters, calendar of events, and newsletters. Advises of dynamic ways to enhance the library image and market library services and materials.

Personal computer, laser printer, 35mm camera, digital camera, scanner and other electronic desktop publishing equipment needed to produce District projects.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required: Strong verbal and written communication skills. High school graduate with an associates degree in commercial art, graphic design, or a related field. (2 years of work experience can be substituted for each year of college.)
Knowledge of standard word processing packages, desktop publishing software, such as Pagemaker and Corel Draw, and desktop publishing equipment. Knowledge of HTML programming for Internet Home Pages.
