Morningstar provides insightful information on stocks, mutual funds, variable annuities, closed-end funds, and over 500 college savings plans. Follow these steps to obtain the historical stock price:
-Type the name of the company or stock symbol of the company in the search box on the right.
-On the bar menu below the company name click on “Performance” .
-Then select “Price History."
-Enter the date or dates that you’re looking for in the “Date Range” search box and hit the Enter key.

Included in the entry for each stock is a brief commentary, past performance, financial information about the company, current information about the stock's price, price-earnings ratio, and dividend yield. Also included are Value Line's Timeliness, Safety, and Technical Ratings. The Expanded edition of the Value Line Investment Survey covers small- and mid-cap stocks that are not included in the regular edition.
